WAs we go deeper into the ingredients in our daily home care products, fabric softener comes up as another big offender in the world of the unknown toxic and dangerous chemicals we use. According to EWG some of the worst offenders are: For Fragrance There are more than 3,000 fragrance ingredients in common household products – and scarcely any way to know what they are. Your fabric softener may contain phthalates, which disperse the scent; synthetic musks such as galaxolide, which accumulate in the body; and much more. Fragrance mixes can cause allergies, skin irritations such as dermatitis, difficulty breathing and potential reproductive harm. Research indicates that scents also cause irritation when vented outdoors, especially for asthmatics and those sensitive to chemicals. Not worth it. Preservatives and Colors Like fragrance, the terms “preservatives” and “colors” or “colorants” on an ingredient label may refer to any number of chemicals. The most worrisome preservatives in fabric softeners include methylisothiazolinone, a potent skin allergen, and glutaral, known to trigger asthma and skin allergies. Glutaral (or glutaraldehyde) is also toxic to marine life. Among artificial colors, D&C violet 2 has been linked to cancer. Others may contain impurities that can cause cancer. We suggest making your own. It is simple and cost effective and good for you and your clothes! / For Sale / For Sale / FULVIC MINERAL BENEFITS
NUTRITIONAL MAXIMIZER Maximizes the cellular up-take and absorption of any substances you consume – foods, probiotics, minerals, essential fatty acids, antioxidants; maximizing the nutritional benefits of foods, juices, and supplements. Extends the availability of said nutrients – literally extending the time they remain active in the body. Assists the body in getting the most out of what you’ve ingested. FULVIC ELECTROLYTE POWER Fulvic acid is said to be one of the finest electrolytes known to man; balancing cellular vitality; providing electrolytes that are crucial to health and vitality. 3 Electrolyte balance impacts your body’s nerve responses, muscular strength or weakness, blood pressure balance, heart health, viable digestive function, and so much more. DIGESTIVE SUPPORT ulvic minerals seem to be the great equalizer, balancing digestive distress that runs the gamut. It seems that fulvic acids are also a major support to digestive health in all realms of digestion. Fulvic informational reports say that fulvic will neutralize food poisoning within minutes of ingestion. CELLULAR PERMEABILITY ala FULVIC Fulvic is a cellular membrane ‘conditioner’; enhancing cellular permeability, which has a cascade of benefits. Water, fluids and nutrients flow in and out of cells more rapidly and efficiently. pH BALANCE The alkaline nature of fulvic mineral supplements can help an overly acidic body restore balance. FREE RADICAL SCAVENGER EXTRAOIRINAIRE One of the most powerful natural, known, free radical scavengers and antioxidants. It can serve as both an electron donor, and as an electron receptor. A free-radical scavenger extraordinaire. ENHANCED DETOXIFICATION Toxins, heavy metals and free radicals are dissolved into ionic form, rendered water soluble – allowing them to be released and escorted out of the body with greater ease. “It has been established that fulvic acid is vital in helping to form new species of metal ions, binding with organic pollutants such as pesticides and herbicides, and catalyzing the breakdown of toxic pollutants.” QUENCH INTERNAL INFLAMMATION As a rich source of antioxidants, fulvic acid quite naturally arrests free radicals, a source of internal inflammation. SLOW DOWN AGING As a free-radical scavenger and cell vitality potentate, fulvic acid can slow down internal processes of accelerated aging. 10. IMMUNE BOOST Fulvic acids boost the body’s natural defenses against infections, viruses, unhealthy yeast and fungal overgrowth. SKIN HEALTH & REGENERATION he Journal of Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigative Dermatology published a study in 2011 citing evidence that eczema responded favorably to application of fulvic acid, above and beyond what was seen with other treatments. BENEFITS OF NATURE The human and animal bodies resonate more deeply, ingest more easily, and assimilates more rapidly organic, natural foods and supplements. Additional HUMIC Benefits: The difference between fulvic and humic acids: fulvic is a transporter, humic is a binder. Humic acid plays a primary role in binding particles as well as increasing cell wall permeability. Think of humic as a magnet. Magnetizing any inorganic elements in your body and gently ‘ushering’ them out. OR think of humic like Velcro. . . it grabs inorganic particles; will clean the blood of any floating inorganic particles. DIGESTIVE SUPPORT Breaking down nutrients, supporting assimilation. Isolating toxins before they’re able to reach the cells. IMMUNE SUPPORT With the use of humic acids, an increase in beneficial microbes – from 400 to 5,000 times. 8 Boost the activity of ‘good’ microbes while also suppressing the ‘not-so-good’ microbes. Studies at UCI Medical School and Baylor Medical School - humates appear to bolster the immune system. A German study indicates the value of humic acids as an antimicrobial by inhibiting the growth of candida albicans. NATURAL DETOXIFICATION Humic acids provide natural chelation – binding toxins and metals that we’re frequently exposed to. Humic has the ability to ‘capture’ toxins before they’re absorbed on a cellular level to wreak havoc on your health. INFLAMMATION Humic acids are known for anti-inflammatory benefits. As we grow we learn and man-o-man is this a big lesson. The way I see it, there is no need to wait for the 'official study' to convince me to ditch the junk and either make my own or buy find a local or online shop that makes clean and natural sprays. Its a win, win!
Many air fresheners employ carcinogens, volatile organic compounds and known toxins such as phthalate esters in their formulas. A Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) study of 13 common household air fresheners found that most of the surveyed products contain chemicals that can aggravate asthma and affect reproductive development. The NRDC called for more rigorous supervision of the manufacturers and their products, which are widely assumed to be safe: The study assessed scented sprays, gels, and plug-in air fresheners. Independent lab testing confirmed the presence of phthalates, or hormone-disrupting chemicals that may pose a particular health risk to babies and young children, in 12 of the 14 products—including those marked 'all natural.' None of the products had these chemicals listed on their labels. (Source Wikipedia} A study conducted in 1998 in Scotland, published in the Archives of Dermatology, showed that several essential oils were effective in treating alopecia areata – hair loss – assisting the participants in re-growing hair.
Participants of this particular study applied a blend of essential oils that included cedarwood, lavender, rosemary, and thyme, in the carrier oils of jojoba and grapeseed. The blend was applied to their scalp daily. The control group used just the carrier oils. Forty-four percent of the study members of the active group saw improvement in hair growth. The obvious conclusion was that the essential oils are a safe and effective remedy for hair loss. HOW WOULD WE USE THIS MIXTURE? Well, obviously we’re not privy to the recipe and specifics of the blend used for this study, but, you could make a blend of the following: 10 drops Lavender 5 drops Cedarwood 5 drops Rosemary (verbenone) 1 drop Thyme Thymol Mix well into 1 oz desired Carrier oil. Blend well. Warm by placing bottle the mixture is in into a bowl of hot water. When appropriately warm, apply to hair and scalp. Wrap with a warm moist towel, over-wrap with a dry towel. Leave on for 20 – 30 minutes. We recommend NamanaLiri Essential Oils! http://namanaliri.com/products/essential-oils/ |
